Can a calorie deficit cause weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight, and my dietitian told me about being in a 'calorie deficit.' Does this actually mean if I eat less than I burn, I will definitely lose weight? I want to make sure I understand it properly.

Yes, eating in a calorie deficit is the primary driver of weight loss. However, if you are in a deficit and still not losing weight, please get your thyroid checked with regular blood tests. I struggled for months until my doctor adjusted my thyroid medication.

Haan, bilkul! Calorie deficit hi sabse bada rule hai weight loss ka na. Bas thoda control rakho khane pe aur active raho. But extreme starving mat karna, normal healthy dhang se calorie kam karo.

Yes, a calorie deficit causes weight loss, which is great for your heart too. When I was diagnosed with high BP, my doctor advised me to lose weight through a moderate deficit and daily walks. Make sure to get regular health checkups done while changing your lifestyle.

Yes, consuming less than your body needs will lead to weight loss. Treat your body like a temple, stay positive, and choose pure, light foods. Take care of your mental peace alongside your physical health.

Yes, it does. But sometimes I worry that I am eating too little and ruining my metabolism. Has anyone else felt super anxious about counting calories, or does it get easier once you get used to it?

I completely understand how stressful starting a weight loss journey can feel, especially with so much conflicting advice online. Yes, a calorie deficit is what scientifically causes weight loss. Please don't stress about being perfect, just take small, comfortable steps.

Haan ji, thoda kam khane se aur thodi mehnat karne se wazan zaroor kam hota hai. Bas ghar ka seedha saadha khana khao aur thoda mitha kam kar do. Aap mehnat karo, aaram se weight kam ho jayega.

Yes, a calorie deficit works and the best part is it's absolutely free! You don't need to spend thousands on expensive diet plans, organic foods, or gym memberships. Just reduce your daily rice portion slightly and walk more to plan your budget-friendly weight loss.

Yes, calorie deficit works, but honestly, it is so hard when there's butter chicken around! I try to manage it by eating smaller portions of my favorite foods so I still stay in a deficit without crying over boiled veggies. It's all about finding that balance.

Yeah, actually it does. I lost around 5 kgs last semester just by cutting down on midnight maggi and cold drinks. It's simple math honestly, just burn more than u eat and you'll see the scale go down.
