Why do weight loss plateaus happen?

I've been trying to lose weight and was doing well, but now for the past two weeks, my weight isn't changing at all. I've heard of 'plateaus' but want to know why do weight loss plateaus happen? It's quite frustrating.

Weight loss plateau ka matlab hai ki tumhari body ab nayi situation mein adjust ho gayi hai. Pehle fat loss hota hai, phir body muscles banane lagti hai. Don't worry, it's normal. Change up your routine and diet thoda.

Beta, sharir bhi aadat daal leta hai. Jab tum ek hi tareeke se diet aur exercise karte ho, toh weight ruk jaata hai. Thoda change karo, jaise pani zyada piyo, aur ghar ka saaf khana khao. Patience rakho.

Plateaus are very common, especially with PCOS, as hormone regulation plays a big role. It means your body has adapted to your current calorie intake and exercise. You might need to gently tweak your diet or workout. Don't get discouraged, consistency is key, but don't overdo it either.

Ah, the dreaded plateau! Your body is basically like, 'Okay, I've lost enough, now I'm comfortable here.' It's a sign your metabolism has adjusted. So, time to trick it again! Maybe try a new exercise or tell it there's a pizza party you can't miss next week.

Weight loss plateaus happen because your body adapts. As you lose weight, your metabolic rate can slow down, and you burn fewer calories at rest. Before spending on expensive supplements or fad diets, try adjusting your portion sizes or adding more activity. Always plan your diet changes practically without unnecessary costs.
