Why am i losing weight during pregnancy 1st trimester?

I'm in my first trimester of pregnancy, and instead of gaining weight, I've actually lost a couple of kilos. I'm not experiencing severe morning sickness either. Is it normal to be losing weight during pregnancy in the first trimester?

Losing weight in the first trimester is quite common due to morning sickness, I know. But if it's a lot, you should definitely talk to your doctor. Don't worry about extra tests too much, they'll usually start with simple blood work first, which isn't too costly. Focus on getting proper advice from your Gynae.

Oh, welcome to the 'pregnancy is weird' club! Sometimes your body is just like 'nah, no food for me right now!' because of all the hormonal drama. It's pretty common with morning sickness. Think of it as your body's personal weight loss program, before the cravings for ice cream kick in! But do chat with your doc just in case.

Haan, first trimester mein thoda weight loss ho jaata hai, because of all the nausea and vomiting, na? It's quite normal for many women. But if it's a lot, then you should definitely tell your gynaecologist. They will check if everything is fine with you and baby.

I totally get it, seeing the scale go down when you expect it to go up can be unnerving during pregnancy. Many women experience significant morning sickness, making it hard to keep food down. As long as your doctor says the baby is growing well, try not to worry too much, but definitely keep them updated.

First-trimester weight loss is quite common, primarily due to nausea, vomiting (morning sickness), and dietary changes. As long as the baby's growth is on track and you're staying hydrated, it's often not a major concern. However, it's imperative to discuss this with your obstetrician to ensure there are no underlying issues and to receive personalized dietary advice.

In a good hospital, they'll tell you that mild weight loss in the first trimester is often normal due to morning sickness or changes in appetite. However, you must ask your doctor clearly if *your* specific weight loss is within healthy limits for your pregnancy. Don't hesitate to ask all your questions, they are there to help.

Hey there! I had some weight loss in my first trimester too, and I was so worried. My doctor said it's super common because of the morning sickness and food aversions. Just try to eat whatever you can tolerate, even if it's small meals. Keep your doctor updated, and they'll reassure you.

While you're pregnant, fitness goals shift to health for you and the baby. Weight loss in the first trimester, particularly due to morning sickness, can happen. Focus on nutrient-dense foods you can keep down, and light activity if your doctor permits. Always follow your OB/GYN's advice first and foremost.
