Which is better for arthritis collagen or glucosamine?

My knees have been hurting a lot due to arthritis, especially in the mornings. My doctor mentioned some supplements like collagen or glucosamine. For arthritis pain, which of these is generally better?

My orthopaedic doctor explained that while both are popular, their efficacy can vary. Glucosamine and chondroitin are often recommended together for joint pain, and some studies show mild benefits for osteoarthritis. Collagen, especially hydrolyzed collagen, is gaining traction for joint health too. It's best to discuss with your doctor, as they might recommend one over the other based on your specific type and stage of arthritis.

Hey, don't stress too much about picking the absolute 'best' one! My aunt tried glucosamine for her knee pain and said it helped a bit. My friend takes collagen for her skin but also mentioned it helps her joints feel better. It really depends on your body, so maybe try one for a few months and see? Or ask your doc!

Arthritis pain can be so debilitating, I really understand the struggle to find relief. I tried so many things out of desperation. Some people swear by glucosamine, others by collagen. What helped me emotionally was realizing it's a journey, and finding a doctor who really listened. Hope you find what eases your pain.

Yaar, ye supplements ka scene complicated hai. Mere papa ko arthritis hai, doctor ne glucosamine-chondroitin diya tha. Thoda farak pada. Collagen bhi accha hai for overall joint health, I guess. But don't just pick one based on ads, talk to your doctor, they know best what your body needs.
