Where to avoid foot massage during pregnancy?

My sister is pregnant and her feet are really swollen, so I offered to give her a foot massage. I remember someone telling me there are certain points to avoid during pregnancy. Which areas on the foot should I avoid massaging during pregnancy?

Ho na, during pregnancy, best hai ki certain points on the feet, especially around the ankles, should be avoided. These are thought to be 'pressure points' that might, you know, stimulate contractions. So, for safety, it's always good to tell the masseuse you're pregnant and ask them to be gentle or avoid specific areas, ya.

During pregnancy, it's best to avoid deep pressure or stimulation to specific reflexology points on the feet, particularly around the ankles and the area between the ankle bone and the heel. These points are sometimes associated with uterine contractions. It's always safest to inform your masseuse that you're pregnant and opt for gentle, non-specific massages, or consult your doctor.

Oh, this is something I worried a lot about during my pregnancy! Everyone said to avoid certain points, especially near the ankles and lower part of the leg, as they're thought to be 'trigger points'. My doctor just said to avoid deep, intense pressure anywhere on the feet and stick to gentle rubs. So, tell your masseuse you're pregnant and they'll know to be careful.

Yaar, during pregnancy, it's actually advised to avoid strong pressure on specific reflexology points on your feet. Especially around the ankle bone and the heel area, these points are sometimes linked to the uterus. So, just tell your masseuse you're expecting and they'll know where to be gentle or avoid. Safer side, always!

I totally get why you'd want a foot massage during pregnancy, those swollen feet are no joke! But yes, there are certain 'pressure points' to avoid, especially around the ankle area and the back of the heel. These are believed to stimulate contractions. It's always best to tell your masseuse you're pregnant so they can be extra careful or check with your doctor first.
