Where is appendix pain in women?

My friend is experiencing severe lower abdominal pain and she's a bit scared. We're trying to figure out if it could be appendicitis, but she heard it can be different for women. Where is appendix pain located in women specifically?

It usually starts near the belly button and then moves to the lower right side. I always get super anxious with any abdominal pain because women have so many more things that can cause pain in that area, making it confusing. It's totally valid to be worried, but please get it checked to rule out anything serious.

My doctor emphasized that appendix pain in women typically begins around the navel and then localizes to the lower right abdomen, similar to men. However, because women have reproductive organs in that region, it can sometimes be mistaken for ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancy, or PID. This is why a thorough examination is crucial for differential diagnosis.

Hey sweetie! Appendix pain in women is usually like, it starts around your belly button and then travels to your lower right tummy and gets super sharp there. But sometimes it can be tricky to tell if it's that or period pain or something else. Don't stress too much, but if it's severe, just see a doc.

Appendix pain in women is generally the same as in men: it starts near the navel and then moves to the lower right abdomen, intensifying. As someone managing BP, I know how important it is to not ignore any unusual pain. Regular checkups and proper lifestyle are crucial for overall health, including gut health. Don't delay seeing a doctor.

I can only share my experience. When my sister had appendicitis, her pain started around her belly button and then moved to her lower right side. It became very sharp there. It was really serious and needed surgery. I won't give advice, but that's what we observed.
