When to take l glutamine for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and a nutritionist suggested L-Glutamine. I bought the powder but she didn't specify the timing. Should I take it before or after workouts, or with meals for the best weight loss effects?

I go to Apollo for all my health concerns, and they always say to ask the doctor before taking any supplements, especially for something like weight loss. L-Glutamine is often used for muscle recovery, not directly for weight loss, so taking it without proper medical advice might not give you the results you want. Best to have a clear discussion with your physician about your goals and if it's suitable for you.

L-Glutamine is usually more for muscle recovery after workouts, not really a primary weight loss supplement. If you're looking for weight loss, focus on consistent strength training, cardio, and a calorie-controlled diet with good protein intake. Glutamine might help with muscle soreness, which means you can train harder, but it's not a magic pill for shedding kilos. Check with a nutritionist or trainer for your specific goals.

See, with weight loss, especially if you have underlying issues like thyroid problems (which I do), just taking a supplement like L-Glutamine without proper guidance isn't ideal. It's generally known for gut health or muscle recovery, not direct weight loss. You need regular checkups, blood tests, and a doctor-approved diet and exercise plan. Don't risk your health for quick fixes.

L-Glutamine for weight loss, huh? Sounds like my attempts at turning salad into pizza! Jokes aside, most people use it for gut health or muscle repair, not really as a primary weight loss tool. If you're serious about shedding kilos, the classic 'eat less, move more' still holds the championship belt. Maybe ask a doctor if this supplement is even relevant for your weight loss journey, otherwise, you might just be feeding your muscles, not shrinking your waistline!

I tried L-Glutamine for a while after my workouts because my gym buddy suggested it for recovery. Honestly, I didn't notice any significant weight loss directly from it. It helped with my muscle soreness, but for weight loss, I found a good diet and consistent exercise made the real difference. I'm not a doctor, so can't tell you about its specific uses, just my experience.
