When someone comments on your weight loss?

I've been working hard on my fitness journey for a few months now, and it feels good to see changes. But sometimes, when relatives or friends comment on my weight loss, I don't know how to respond. It's a mix of feeling happy but also a little self-conscious, like what if I regain it?

Haha, I usually just smile and say 'Haan, thoda kam kiya hai.' And then quickly change the topic to what delicious food I ate last night or what I'm craving! Keeps the conversation light and away from my diet struggles.

Oh, I just say 'Thank you!' with a big smile! 😊 If I'm feeling chatty, I might add something like 'Trying to be healthier!' or 'Working on it!' No need to overthink it! ✨

I’ve learned to just say 'Thanks, I feel much better now.' And then change the subject. People often don't realize that commenting on weight can be sensitive. Focus on your health, not their comments. Your journey is yours alone.

I usually just acknowledge it with a 'Thank you' or 'Yes, trying to stay healthy.' I try to avoid going into details about my diet unless they genuinely ask and seem interested in making positive changes themselves. It's a personal journey.

A simple 'Thank you' is usually enough. You don't need to elaborate if you don't want to. It's your health journey.

If the weight loss is intentional and doctor-approved, a simple 'Thank you, feeling much healthier now!' is sufficient. If it was unintentional and worrying you, that’s when you'd consult a doctor at a good hospital. Otherwise, just accept the compliment graciously.

Oh, someone comments? I usually just blink and say 'Haan, trying to get more sleep!' because honestly, that's half the battle. Or 'Thanks, it's all the stress of xyz!' Keeps it light, you know.

I used to get so self-conscious, but now I just say, 'Yes, making some healthy changes, feeling good!' No need to explain your entire diet and exercise routine. Keep it simple and focus on your positive feelings.
