When do you see weight loss?

I've started going to the gym regularly and also trying to eat healthier to lose some weight. It's only been a couple of weeks, but I'm feeling a bit impatient. How long does it usually take to start seeing actual weight loss results?

Honestly, weight loss is not a quick fix. If it's natural, with diet and exercise, you might see small changes in a few weeks, noticeable in 2-3 months. But it's steady. If you have high BP, controlling that is primary, and often weight loss naturally follows with a healthy lifestyle. Regular checkups are important to track progress and ensure you're losing weight safely.

For me, with thyroid issues, weight loss is always a slower process. You might see some changes in scale after 2-3 weeks of consistent effort, but real visible results take a couple of months. It's crucial to keep your thyroid levels in check with regular tests and follow your doctor's advice, as it directly impacts metabolism and weight.

If you're following a proper diet and exercise plan, you might start seeing initial changes in a month, and more significant results in 2-3 months. However, everyone's body is different. At a good hospital, they'd advise you to ask your doctor or a dietician clearly about realistic expectations and safe rates of weight loss.

Honestly, it depends on how consistent you are and what your starting point is. Usually, you might feel lighter and see some changes in your clothes within 3-4 weeks if you're eating right and exercising. Visible changes on the scale or to others might take 2-3 months. Just keep at it!

You start seeing changes, especially in inches, within 3-4 weeks if you're consistent with diet and exercise. The scale might not move dramatically at first, but your clothes will feel looser. Make sure your exercise routine is balanced, maybe include some strength training and daily walks for best results.

Beta, for weight loss, patience is key. If you eat ghar ka khaana and walk everyday, slowly, slowly you will see results. Maybe in one month you feel lighter, in two-three months you see it properly. Don't hurry, healthy way is best way.

If you're making healthy changes to diet and exercise, you might start noticing small changes in a few weeks. However, rapid or unexplained weight loss can sometimes be a sign of an underlying medical condition. For safety, it's always best to consult a doctor or a nutritionist to ensure your weight loss journey is healthy and sustainable.

For me, when I started eating better and walking daily, I didn't see anything on the scale for the first 2-3 weeks, which was frustrating! But then after a month, I dropped 2-3 kgs, and it kept coming off slowly. So don't give up too soon, it takes time for your body to adjust.
