What type of cancer causes weight loss?

My husband has been losing weight quite rapidly in the last few months, and he doesn't feel like eating much. We've been trying to figure out why. Someone mentioned that unexplained weight loss can be a symptom of certain cancers, so I'm a bit worried. Which types of cancer usually cause this?

I'm new to this, but I've heard that unexplained weight loss can be serious. Is it true that almost all types of cancer can cause weight loss, or are there specific ones to be more concerned about?

Namaste! If a person is losing vajan (weight) without trying, it is a sign that something is not right in the body. Many serious illnesses, including cancer, especially of the stomach, intestine, or lungs, can cause this. Please show to a good doctor ji, it is important.

Yeah, sudden weight loss without dieting is pretty sus. My friend's relative had a problem and they said many cancers, like stomach or pancreatic, can make you lose appetite and weight. So, if it's happening to you, better get it checked fast. Don't just ignore it!

For me, weight is usually very stable with my routine. Unexplained weight loss is definitely a red flag. Many aggressive cancers, particularly those of the GI tract (stomach, colon, pancreas) or advanced cancers anywhere in the body, can cause this cachexia. If your doctor clears you, light walks can still help with energy levels.

Weight loss without effort is always a symptom that needs immediate medical attention. As a BP patient, I know how important it is to monitor body changes. Cancers of the pancreas, stomach, colon, lung, or advanced cancers anywhere in the body are common causes. Please get a full medical checkup and blood tests done.

Weight loss? Wow, I wish that was my problem! 😂 But seriously, if it's unexplained and happening fast, it's not a good sign. Most cancers, especially the ones that are aggressive or mess with your metabolism, can make you lose weight. So, time to see the doc, not celebrate the new waistline!

Hey, if you're losing weight without even trying, that's definitely something to get checked out, yaar. Many cancers, especially those affecting your digestion or metabolism, can cause it. But don't stress too much until you see a doctor; it could be something else too. Just make that appointment, okay?
