What to eat before bed for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight, and I heard that what you eat before bed can really affect it. I'm looking for some healthy, light options that won't hinder my weight loss efforts. Any good ideas for a late-night snack?

Honestly, best thing is not to eat anything heavy right before bed. If you're genuinely hungry, maybe a handful of almonds or a small bowl of curd. Keep it light, easily digestible, and low in sugar.

Uff, the late-night munchies are the real enemy, no? I try to trick myself with a cup of herbal tea or warm milk. If that doesn't work, maybe a small fruit like an apple or some makhana. Anything else feels like cheating on my diet!

As a working professional, late nights are common, so eating before bed is sometimes unavoidable. I try to keep it super light – a small bowl of sprouts or a plain yoghurt. The key is to finish dinner at least 2-3 hours before sleeping, then if hungry, a small healthy snack. Don't go to bed starving.

I always worry if eating too late will just sit there and turn to fat. My dietician said if I absolutely *must* eat, then something high in protein but low in carbs and fat is ideal, like a small piece of paneer or a few boiled chickpeas. But she stressed that dinner should be early and light.

From my experience, trying random diets for weight loss can actually backfire and cause health issues. If you have specific weight loss goals, please consult a nutritionist or doctor. They can recommend what's safe for *your* body, especially regarding meal timings and types.
