What pregnancy test is better?

My husband and I are trying to conceive, and I've heard there are different types of pregnancy tests. I'm a bit confused about which one is the most reliable or gives the clearest results. Should I go for a specific brand or type?

Honestly, ghar pe jo strips milte hain, they are pretty good for a first check, haan na. Agar positive aaye toh doctor ke paas jaake blood test karwa lo, that's the most accurate one. Don't stress too much about it.

Oh, this is such a common worry! I always get so anxious about accuracy. I think the home kits are good for a quick check, but what if they're wrong? I'd say do a home kit, and if it's positive, don't wait, just go for the blood test. It's the most reliable, and then you'll know for sure, no doubts.

My doctor always told me that while home urine kits are good for initial detection (they detect hCG in urine), the blood test (beta-hCG) is much more accurate as it can detect pregnancy earlier and also give a quantitative value. So, if you're looking for confirmation and want to know the exact levels, blood test is definitely better.

I can only share what we did. My wife first used a home kit from the chemist, and when it showed two lines, we immediately went to the gynaecologist. She then asked for a blood test to confirm. So, the home kit was our first step, but the doctor confirmed with blood.

Hello, dear! Generally, the urine pregnancy kits you buy at the pharmacy are good for a first indication. They are quite reliable these days. But for full confirmation and if you want to know more about the pregnancy, a blood test done by a lab is always recommended by doctors. It's more sensitive.
