What is the most effective weight loss pill over-the-counter?

I've gained a bit of weight during WFH and want to shed it. I don't want to visit a doctor right now. Are there any over-the-counter weight loss pills that are actually effective?

Most OTC weight loss pills are often just diuretics or laxatives, or contain stimulants like caffeine. They might make you lose water weight temporarily, but not actual fat. And they can have side effects. Better to focus on a balanced diet and exercise. If you're serious, talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian.

Be very, very careful about any 'most effective' claims, especially for weight loss pills available OTC. A lot of these products are unregulated and can have hidden ingredients or be completely ineffective. Don't trust what you read online without verifying with a doctor or a pharmacist.

Yaar, honestly, there's no magic pill over-the-counter that will make you lose weight effectively and safely. Most of them are just hype, actually. You might just be wasting your money and risking your health. Better to invest in a good nutritionist or a gym membership.

Weight loss pill? The only 'pill' I rely on is the one that says 'eat in moderation' and 'enjoy your food, don't just gulp it down'! 😂 Seriously, these pills make big promises but usually don't deliver. Better to savour your meals and just be a bit more mindful.

Hahaha, if such a pill existed, I'd be the first one in line! My generation has tried everything. From green tea extracts to apple cider vinegar pills, it's mostly disappointment. The 'most effective' pill is usually just eating ghar ka khana and going for a walk, even if it sounds boring.

For me, managing my diabetes and weight goes hand-in-hand. Taking any over-the-counter pill without medical advice could seriously impact my sugar levels or interact with my existing medications. It's just not worth the risk. Always consult your endocrinologist or general physician first.

I've been wondering about this too, seeing so many ads for these pills. But after reading up, it seems like most don't really work long term or have side effects. It's confusing to figure out what's genuine.
