What is the healthiest lunch for weight loss?

I'm always struggling with what to pack for lunch that's healthy and helps with weight loss. Most of my colleagues bring heavy meals. Can anyone suggest what is the healthiest lunch for weight loss that I can prepare easily and take to work?

For lunch, think balanced meals. A good portion of dal or a lean protein like chicken/fish, with a generous helping of sabzi (vegetables) and one small whole wheat roti or a small bowl of brown rice. Avoid fried items and creamy curries. Keeps you full and energized without the heavy feeling.

Beta, for weight loss, lunch should be substantial but not heavy. My mother always said, 'Subah ka nashta raja jaisa, dopahar ka mantri jaisa, raat ka bhikhari jaisa.' So, a good helping of dal-sabzi with one roti or less rice is good. It's about consistency, not just one meal.

Healthiest lunch for weight loss? The one that makes me not want to nap immediately after! 😂 Seriously though, anything light with good protein and fiber. My go-to is often a big vegetable salad with some boiled chickpeas or a small bowl of sprouts. Keeps the afternoon slump away.

Yaar, healthiest lunch for weight loss, actually it's about portion control and what you pair. I usually have a big bowl of salad with some grilled paneer or chicken. If roti-sabzi, then make sure sabzi is loaded with veggies and roti is whole wheat. Less oil, more nutrition, simple!

Weight loss can be expensive if you buy fancy diet foods. For lunch, home-cooked food is best and budget-friendly. Daal-chawal (brown rice) with a big plate of seasonal sabzi. Or a chilla made from besan with lots of grated veggies. It's affordable, filling, and healthy. No need for costly tests if you eat right.

Initially, I just ate whatever I thought was 'less' but ignored nutrition, and ended up having low energy. Please don't make my mistake. For a healthy lunch, ensure it's balanced with protein, carbs, and fats. A doctor or a dietician can guide you best based on your body. Don't self-diagnose your diet.
