Since becoming pregnant, I've been really struggling with constipation, and it's quite uncomfortable. I'm worried about taking anything over-the-counter. What is safe to take for constipation during pregnancy?

Oh, constipation during pregnancy is such a common and annoying problem! I definitely experienced it. What helped me and was cleared by my doctor were things like increasing my fiber intake – lots of fruits, veggies, and whole grains. Also, drinking plenty of water and daily walks made a big difference. For anything stronger, always ask your gynaecologist.

Constipation during pregnancy, I totally get it, it's the worst! The safest things are usually increasing your water intake, eating a high-fiber diet (lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains), and regular gentle exercise like walking. Some doctors might recommend specific fiber supplements or stool softeners, but you absolutely must consult your gynecologist before taking anything, even if it seems mild.

Constipation in pregnancy, ho na, it's so uncomfortable! My doctor recommended increasing water intake, eating more fibre-rich foods like leafy greens and whole grains. Sometimes, even a gentle walk helps. Agar phir bhi relief na mile, toh doctor se puch kar hi stool softener lena, khud se kuch mat karna, haan na?

Constipation in pregnancy? Oh, been there, done that, and it's no fun at all! Safest bets are always the boring ones: drink loads of water, eat plenty of 'hari sabzi' and fruits, and try to walk a bit. For anything else, please, please ask your gynaecologist. Don't listen to all the 'nani ke nuskhe' without checking with the doc first!
