I'm trying to lose weight in a healthy way, but I don't want to overdo it. Someone told me there's a normal amount to lose per week. What is that normal weight loss per week?

I once tried a fad diet and ended up with complications, so I'm very cautious now. A 'normal' or healthy weight loss is generally considered to be about 0.5 to 1 kg (1 to 2 pounds) per week. If you're losing more rapidly without trying, or experiencing any negative symptoms, please see a doctor immediately. It's not worth risking your health.

For sustainable and healthy weight loss, aiming for 0.5 to 1 kg per week is generally recommended. However, if you are experiencing unintended, rapid weight loss, or if you have specific health conditions, it is crucial to consult a doctor. They can rule out any underlying issues and guide you safely.

From a fitness perspective, a healthy and sustainable rate of weight loss is usually around 0.5 to 1 kg (1-2 lbs) per week. This allows your body to adapt and helps maintain muscle mass. It’s all about a balanced diet and consistent exercise, not crash dieting. Always check with a professional if you're planning major changes.

For healthy, sustainable weight loss, typically 0.5 to 1 kg per week is considered normal and safe. Anything much faster can lead to nutrient deficiencies and isn't usually sustainable in the long run. Focus on consistent small changes rather than quick fixes. Consult a dietician or doctor for a tailored plan if you're serious.

I've been reading up on this too! Most articles say losing about 0.5 to 1 kg (1-2 pounds) a week is considered healthy and sustainable. Anything more than that and it might be too fast or unhealthy. It's better to keep it slow and steady, I guess.

From my own journey, a nutritionist once told me that losing about 0.5 to 1 kg per week is a healthy target. Faster than that can be tough on the body. But I can only share my experience; for actual medical advice or a personalized plan, please consult a healthcare professional. Everyone's body is different.
