What is a reasonable weight loss per month?

I'm on a weight loss journey, and I want to set a healthy pace. How much weight is considered reasonable or safe to lose per month without harming my health?

For adults, losing about 2-4 kg (4-8 pounds) per month is considered healthy and sustainable. For kids, it's usually much slower and always under a doctor's guidance. It's practical to aim for this range because drastic weight loss is rarely healthy or lasting, and with kids, you need to set a good example.

Like, I heard anything between 0.5 to 1 kg per week is chill. So that would be like 2 to 4 kgs a month? Anything more than that feels kinda unrealistic and unhealthy, no? You gotta eat proper food still!

I always see people online claiming to lose 5-10 kg in a month and it makes me feel so slow! Is 2-3 kg a month actually good? Or am I expecting too little? Sometimes it feels like a really slow process, does anyone else feel that frustration?

Oh, a reasonable weight loss is definitely not starving yourself! For me, it's about enjoying my food but in moderation. Losing about 2-4 kg a month is totally achievable without giving up all your favourite treats. It's about a balance, like having a small dessert instead of a huge one, right?

Hey, don't stress too much about super fast weight loss! For most people, a healthy and realistic goal is losing about 0.5 to 1 kilogram (1 to 2 pounds) per week. So, roughly 2-4 kgs a month is perfect. It's sustainable and won't make you feel deprived or burn out.

So, like, what's a good amount of weight to lose without it being unhealthy? I heard people say 1-2 kgs a week, so that's like 4-8 kgs a month. Is that actually realistic for most people? I'm just curious because everyone has such different ideas.

A healthy and realistic weight loss goal is around 0.5 to 1 kg per week, which means 2 to 4 kg a month. Don't go for drastic diets that cost a lot and don't work long-term. Focus on sustainable changes, like walking more and eating ghar ka khana. It's practical and much better for your budget and health.

I just lost about 3 kg last month, and my nutritionist said that was a great, healthy pace. She emphasized that anything more than 4-5 kg a month is usually unsustainable and can lead to muscle loss instead of fat. So, yes, 2-4 kg is totally reasonable and achievable!
