True well-being comes from balance, and this applies to weight loss too. A gentle, sustainable loss of 1-2 kgs per month is often advised by experts. It means your body is adjusting naturally, supported by healthy eating and perhaps some mindful movement like yoga and walking. Don't rush the process, just be consistent.

For healthy and sustainable weight loss, aiming for 1 to 2 kilograms per month is considered normal and effective. Anything more aggressive without medical supervision can be risky and often unsustainable in the long run. Focus on lifestyle changes, not quick fixes.

When you have thyroid issues, weight loss can be particularly challenging. My endocrinologist said that even then, a healthy and sustainable loss is typically 1-2 kgs per month. It's crucial to have your thyroid levels optimized first and then work with a doctor or dietitian for a plan, and monitor your progress through regular tests.

With PCOS, weight loss can be a slow journey, and comparing yourself to others is unhelpful. My doctor always emphasized that a healthy and sustainable rate is around 1 to 2 kgs per month. Don't get discouraged if it's slower; consistency is more important than speed, and always work with your doctor or a nutritionist.
