What glp 1 drugs are approved for weight loss?

My doctor mentioned GLP-1 drugs for weight loss, but I'm confused by all the different names. Could someone tell me which GLP-1 drugs are currently approved for weight management in India?

I know how exhausting the weight loss struggle can be, honestly it breaks you down emotionally. Semaglutide, known as Wegovy, is FDA approved for weight loss, and Liraglutide too. Please don't feel guilty about needing medical help, you are not alone in this.

Wegovy (semaglutide) and Saxenda (liraglutide) are officially approved for weight loss. Having used GLP-1 therapy under my endocrinologist's guidance, my tip is to focus on protein intake from day one to avoid muscle loss. Do not buy these online without a prescription, safety first.

Haan, weight loss ke liye Wegovy and Saxenda approved hain, but directly nahi milti India mein easily. Doctor se consult karna zaroori hai na, khud se toh bilkul mat lena because side effects ka tension hota hai.

Wegovy and Saxenda are approved, but honestly, they are extremely expensive in India right now. Before jumping into these, plan your budget for regular thyroid and kidney tests too, because doctors won't prescribe them without proper blood work which also costs a lot.

Semaglutide under the brand Wegovy is the main one approved specifically for weight loss. As someone with a 10-hour desk job, I looked into this, but remember these are weekly or daily injections and require strict lifestyle changes alongside. It's not a magic shortcut if you have zero time for exercise.

At 52, my knees scream during walks, so I asked my doc about Wegovy. Yes, it's approved for weight management, but when I saw the price and the nausea warnings, I decided my home-cooked dal-chawal and a slow walk are much safer for my pocket and my stomach!

Listen, Wegovy is the primary one approved for chronic weight management. Don't stress too much about these heavy terms; just go talk to a good endocrinologist who will guide you safely. Avoid self-medicating with diabetes drugs just because you heard they reduce weight, okay?
