What exercises to avoid during pregnancy?

I just found out I'm pregnant and I'm really excited, but also a bit nervous about what I can and can't do. I usually work out regularly, but now I need to be careful. Which exercises should I definitely avoid during pregnancy?

During pregnancy, it's so important to be careful, especially with exercise. Avoid anything high-impact like jumping, or exercises that require lying flat on your back for too long in the later stages, as it can reduce blood flow to the baby. Also, no heavy lifting, it's just not worth the risk. Always consult your gynaecologist, they know best and can advise based on your health. Don't want to spend extra on emergency docs!

Being pregnant means being super careful! I've heard you should definitely avoid exercises that put you at risk of falling, like skiing or gymnastics. Also, anything that involves a lot of bouncing or jumping. And no lying on your back for long after the first trimester. Best to stick to gentle activities like walking or swimming and always, always check with your doctor first.

I totally get how confusing it can be to figure out safe exercises during pregnancy! From what I've learned, definitely avoid any high-impact activities, heavy weightlifting, and exercises where you might fall, like horseback riding. Also, after the first trimester, avoid lying flat on your back. Always listen to your body, and most importantly, chat with your doctor or a prenatal fitness expert!

Namaste ji. Garbhavastha mein, bahut dhyan rakhna padta hai. Humare ghar mein toh bolte the ki koi bhi bhaari kaam ya uchhal kood wale vyayam nahi karne chahiye. Pet par zor pade, aisa kuch mat karo. Bas halki phulki walk karo aur thodi streching. Par haan, doctor se zaroor poocho. Woh sabse achha bataenge.

For pregnant women, definitely avoid exercises with a high risk of falling or abdominal trauma, like contact sports or intense cycling. Also, don't do exercises that put too much pressure on your core or involve lying flat on your back after the first trimester. My health app has some great prenatal workout suggestions that are safe. Always get an OK from your doctor first though!

Oh, pregnancy is a time when you have to be extra careful! I remember my sister being advised to avoid any exercises that involve jerking movements, heavy lifting, or anything that could make you fall easily. No deep twists either. Walking, swimming, and prenatal yoga are generally safe. But every pregnancy is different, so it's best to discuss with your gynaecologist for personalized advice.
