What does early pregnancy feel like?

My period is a week late and I'm feeling a bit off, but not really 'sick'. I've heard pregnancy symptoms can be very subtle at first. What does early pregnancy feel like for most women?

Early pregnancy symptoms can be very different for everyone, and sometimes they can even mimic period symptoms, which can be confusing. Common things are fatigue, sore breasts, morning sickness (which can be any time of day!), and frequent urination. Like with PCOS, it's a lot about hormonal changes. Don't over-analyze every little feeling; the best way to confirm is a pregnancy test and then a doctor's visit.

Oh, early pregnancy! This is something I'd totally obsess over, trying to find every little sign. People say it feels like extreme tiredness, super sore and sensitive breasts, nausea (not just in the morning!), and needing to pee all the time. Sometimes even weird cravings or a metallic taste. It sounds like a rollercoaster, and honestly, a bit daunting. Hope you're feeling okay if you're experiencing these.

For many, early pregnancy feels a lot like PMS, but stronger! I remember the intense fatigue, sore breasts, and constant nausea. I tried ginger tea for the nausea, which helped a little. Some also get weird food cravings or a metallic taste. It's a whole mix of feelings, and it can be overwhelming, so be kind to yourself.

Don't stress, it's quite common to feel a lot of different things in early pregnancy. Many women experience extreme tiredness, tender or swollen breasts, some nausea or morning sickness (can happen any time of day), and a heightened sense of smell. You might also feel more emotional. It's your body adjusting to the big changes, so be gentle with yourself. Just take it one day at a time.

From what I've seen my friends go through, early pregnancy often involves a lot of fatigue, like you've just run a marathon without actually moving! Also, sensitive breasts and a general feeling of nausea. Eating small, frequent meals with good nutrition, and light exercise (if cleared by a doc) can sometimes help manage the symptoms. It's a big change for the body.
