What does a dietitian do for weight loss?

I've been struggling with my weight for a long time, and dieting on my own hasn't really worked. I'm thinking of seeing a dietitian, but I'm not sure what their approach is. What exactly does a dietitian do for weight loss?

They basically stop you from eating all the fun things in life, but with a scientific chart! Honestly, they look at your current horrible routine and replace your daily samosa with boiled chana and lauki juice. It's tough, but they actually calculate your calories so you don't starve yourself foolishly.

Humare yahan log sochte hain diet matlab bhukha rehna, par aisa nahi hai. Ek achhe dietitian aapko sahi tarika batate hain ki ghar ka khana khakar hi kaise vajan kam karein. Woh batate hain ki roti kitni khani hai, dal kaunsi achhi hai, aur kab khana hai.

Haan na, weight loss is so confusing nowadays. A dietitian will sit with you, check your medical history, and make a proper customized meal plan that actually fits your routine. They don't just give a random diet sheet; they help you manage portions, which is so important, ho na.

Look, they don't have any magic pill. A dietitian will give you a practical plan based on your height, weight, and lifestyle, and hold you accountable. If you don't follow their chart and cheat every day, even the best dietitian in the country cannot save you.

I hired a clinical nutritionist at Kokilaben Hospital last year for my weight issues. They run your blood panel first to check thyroid, B12, and vitamin D before prescribing any diet. Don't follow random Instagram dietitians; go to a certified hospital professional who understands medical constraints.

I am also thinking of consulting someone because my weight is not budging at all. Do they also suggest which exercises to do, or do they only focus on food and kitchen changes? I am a bit nervous to go alone.
