What can doctors prescribe for weight loss?

I've been trying to lose weight for a while now, but it's very difficult. I've heard some doctors can prescribe medicines to help. What kind of treatments or medications can doctors prescribe for weight loss?

I once ignored severe vomiting and tried to manage it only with home drinks, which led to severe dehydration and kidney strain. Please drink simple ORS or water with salt and sugar. If you can't keep any liquids down for more than 6 hours, please visit a clinic immediately.

At Max Hospital, the doctors always advise starting with very small sips of electrolyte water or ORS after vomiting. Don't drink a large amount at once, just take tiny sips every 10 minutes. If the vomiting persists, ask your doctor for an anti-vomiting tablet.

I have a very sensitive stomach and vomit easily. What always works for me is sipping lukewarm water mixed with a little honey and fresh lemon juice. Avoid milk, tea, or coffee completely as they will irritate your stomach lining again.

Beta, after your stomach is empty, do not give it anything heavy or cold. Drink a little warm water boiled with ginger and a pinch of black salt. It slowly calms the nausea, but take only small spoons at a time.

I was researching stomach bugs recently, and apparently, coconut water is amazing after vomiting because it naturally restores potassium and magnesium. Just let your stomach rest for 30 minutes after throwing up before you drink anything.

Listen, don't drink anything fancy right now. Just get a standard WHO-approved ORS packet, mix it in clean water, and sip it slowly. It is the safest way to prevent dehydration, no need to overcomplicate things.

Aap thoda sa dhaniya aur saunf ka paani ubal kar thanda kar lijiye, aur use dheere dheere peejiye. Isse pet ki jalan aur ulti ka man bilkul shant ho jata hai ji.

In my experience, drinking hot black tea with a little lemon juice helps instantly settle my stomach after I throw up. It is the only thing my body tolerates well during a stomach upset.

Whenever I vomit, I get so anxious that I will pass out from weakness. I constantly worry if I should drink water or if it will make me throw up again. I usually just hold ice cubes in my mouth, it feels safer and less overwhelming.

I log my hydration levels closely and highly recommend diluted electrolyte drinks or plain coconut water after vomiting. Take exactly 50ml every fifteen minutes so you don't trigger the gag reflex again. It helps recover your hydration levels quickly.
