What are the healthiest vegetables for weight loss?

Hi, I'm trying to lose some weight after my pregnancy. My mum keeps telling me to eat more sabzi, but I'm not sure which ones are actually good for weight loss. Could you suggest some healthy vegetables?

For weight loss, especially if you're diabetic like me, focus on green leafy ones like palak, methi, and even broccoli. They are low carb and high in fiber, which keeps blood sugar stable. Also, avoid starchy veggies like potatoes too much, they can spike sugar.

Honestly, the best veggies are the ones you'll actually eat regularly! For weight loss, just make sure you're getting a good variety. I just try to include a different sabzi with lunch and dinner every day. Bhindi, lauki, tinda – anything works, just less oil. Quick and easy is key.

Beta, don't overthink it too much. All vegetables are good for you! Just ensure you're eating more of them and less fried, sugary things. My mother always said 'har sabzi mein shakti hai'. Just reduce the oil and spices, that's enough for weight.

My grandmother always said to eat plenty of keerai (leafy greens) and gourds like bottle gourd or ridge gourd. They have so much water and fiber, very good for digestion and feeling full. But it's also important to check with a doctor or dietician for proper guidance, they know best for your body.

Oh, this is a good question! I'm also trying to lose a little weight. So, like, are carrots also good? I heard they have some sugar, so I'm a bit confused. Any suggestions on how to cook them simply?
