Should you fill cavities in baby teeth?

My 5-year-old son has a small cavity in one of his baby teeth. The dentist suggested filling it, but my mother said it's just a baby tooth, it will fall out anyway. Should you fill cavities in baby teeth or just leave them?

This is a definite yes. Cavities in baby teeth can lead to pain, infection, and even affect the development of permanent teeth. If you go to a good dental hospital, the pediatric dentist will explain clearly why it's important. Always ask your doctor all your concerns.

Yes, absolutely! My son had a couple of cavities in his baby teeth, and our dentist insisted on filling them. It prevents the decay from spreading to other teeth and affecting the permanent teeth growing underneath. Plus, it saves the child from pain and infection. Don't skip it.

Well, based on my personal experience with my niece, her dentist recommended filling her baby tooth cavity. They explained that leaving it could cause issues for her adult teeth. I'm not a doctor, so I can only share that the professionals advised filling it.

Haan, beta, even if they are baby teeth, cavities can cause a lot of pain for the child. It's better to fill them. My mother used to say use neem datun, but for cavities, modern doctors are best. Don't let the little ones suffer.

As someone who's learned to be cautious with health decisions due to PCOS, I'd say yes, filling cavities in baby teeth is important. Leaving them can lead to pain, infection, and problems for the permanent teeth. Always follow a good pediatric dentist's advice; don't overconfidently think they'll just fall out without consequence.

From a practical standpoint, filling cavities in baby teeth is usually the best approach. It prevents further decay, keeps the child from pain, and ensures they can eat properly. Also, it maintains the space for permanent teeth, which is important. It's a simple, effective solution.

Maintaining oral health from a young age is fundamental, just like good nutrition and staying active. Yes, cavities in baby teeth should be filled. They're not just temporary; they affect overall health, diet, and even how permanent teeth come in. Good dental habits start early.

God, yes! The thought of a little one crying from a toothache is enough to make me lose even more sleep than I already do! Fill those cavities. Anything to prevent pain and keep the peace. Who needs more crying at 3 AM?

Yes, absolutely. It's crucial. Baby teeth are vital for proper chewing, speech, and maintaining space for permanent teeth. Ignoring cavities in them can cause pain, infection, and lead to more serious dental issues down the line. Get them filled by a pediatric dentist.
