Is yogurt good for weight gain or loss?

I'm trying to manage my weight and I eat dahi almost daily. Some friends say it helps you lose weight, but others say it can make you gain. Confused what's true, can anyone tell me?

Dahi is very versatile, beta. For weight loss, you should use low-fat, plain dahi. For weight gain, full-fat dahi with some dry fruits or jaggery is good. It depends on what your body needs and how you use it. Always listen to your body and eat mindfully.

Yogurt can be good for both, depending on the type and what you add to it! For weight loss, go for plain, low-fat Greek yogurt (high protein, low calories). For weight gain, full-fat yogurt with added nuts, seeds, or fruit can be calorie-dense. I track macros on my app, and it's easy to see the difference. Always check nutritional labels!

With thyroid issues, weight can fluctuate a lot, so I'm always mindful of what I eat. Yogurt can absolutely support both goals. For weight loss, plain, low-fat yogurt is great. For gain, full-fat with healthy additions. The key is to know your body's needs, get regular check-ups, and maybe consult a dietitian who understands your specific health profile.

Plain dahi is a fantastic natural food, good for digestion and gut health. For weight loss, low-fat plain yogurt without sugar is best. For weight gain, use full-fat yogurt and add healthy ingredients like nuts or fruits for extra calories. It's a healthy component of any diet. But if you have serious weight issues or underlying conditions, a doctor or dietitian should guide you.

Yogurt is versatile. For weight loss, opt for plain, unsweetened, low-fat or Greek yogurt due to high protein and low calories. For weight gain, full-fat yogurt with calorie-dense additions like nuts, seeds, or fruit works well. It entirely depends on your specific dietary goals and overall intake.
