Is xyzal safe during pregnancy?

I usually take Xyzal for my allergies, especially with all the dust these days. I just found out I'm pregnant and am wondering if it's still safe for me to take it or if there are alternatives.

Just like how I have to cross-check every single food and medication for my sugar levels, you must do the same for pregnancy. Any drug can cross the placenta. Please consult your doctor before taking Xyzal for cold or allergy.

Hey, I take Xyzal for my seasonal allergies but pregnancy is a whole different ball game. I wouldn't suggest popping any allergy pills without asking a proper gynaecologist first. Better to be safe than sorry, bro.

I am actually quite new to this and don't know much about allergy meds during pregnancy. Is Xyzal the only option for you, or did your doctor suggest some nasal sprays instead? Please check with them once to make sure.

With allergy medicines, there are different categories of safety during pregnancy. Even if someone says they took it, every pregnancy is different. Please get it verified by your doctor before consuming it.

Don't stress too much about the allergies, we can manage it. But regarding Xyzal, it is best not to self-prescribe when you are pregnant. Just call your doctor's clinic quickly and confirm if it is safe for your specific trimester.

Xyzal is levocetirizine, and while some doctors do prescribe it during pregnancy if benefits outweigh risks, it is not something you should self-start. Just drop a message to your doctor and they will tell you if you need this or a simpler antihistamine.

Personally, my doctor had asked me to switch to a different allergy medicine during my second trimester instead of Xyzal. Every case is unique though, so I highly recommend talking to your own gynaecologist.

Congrats on the pregnancy! Just a small tip—try to avoid taking Xyzal directly. Ask your doctor for a safe alternative so you can breathe easy and enjoy this beautiful phase without any worries.

Haan na, allergy is so irritating especially when you can't take normal meds. But pregnancy me we have to be very careful. Better to ask your doc before taking Xyzal, they might give some milder option.

Your baby is already busy growing eyebrows and toes, let's not confuse them with random allergy pills! Keep Xyzal on standby and get a green signal from your doc first. A quick phone call will save you all the overthinking.

I had a very difficult pregnancy with several complications, so I became extremely cautious about every single tablet. Please do not take Xyzal or any antihistamine without asking your obstetrician. It is always better to get a direct prescription.

When my sister was pregnant, she had terrible allergy issues but tried staying hydrated and steam inhalation instead of taking heavy meds. It's better to avoid pills like Xyzal unless your doctor explicitly says it is fine.
