Is wholemeal pasta good for weight loss?

I'm trying to follow a healthier diet and reduce my weight. I enjoy pasta sometimes, but I'm conscious of the calories. Is wholemeal pasta a good choice for weight loss, or is it not much different from regular pasta?

Wholemeal pasta is definitely better than white maida pasta, ho na. But keep portion size in check because too much of anything will increase weight. I mix lots of veggies in it so stomach gets full easily with less pasta.

Yes, it is good because of the low glycemic index, but weight loss is all about calorie deficit. If you are eating 2000 calories of wholemeal pasta, you will still gain weight. Track your daily macros and control your portion size, that is the only way.

Honestly, it works only if you dont load it with heavy cheese and creamy sauces. Just cook it in simple tomato gravy with basic home ingredients and veggies. It is a bit expensive compared to local wheat daliya, so choose what fits your budget.

I tried eating wholemeal pasta during my weight loss journey last year. It helps with fiber and keeps you full, but dont eat it daily. I found that swapping it with plain vegetable daliya or oats gave me much better results.

Our body digests simple, fresh local foods much better. While wholemeal pasta has decent fiber, try focusing on light home-cooked meals and deep pranayama daily. It helps balance your metabolism naturally which makes weight management easy.
