Is whey protein good for weight loss?

I'm on a weight loss journey and trying to eat more protein. I was wondering if adding whey protein to my diet would be beneficial for losing weight. Does it help with satiety or metabolism?

It is completely normal to feel confused with all these conflicting weight loss tips online. Personally, whey protein helped me manage my sugar cravings and stop overeating, which reduced my stress significantly.

For PCOS, whey can be helpful but some girls find dairy triggers acne or bloating. I use a pure isolate brand which works for me, but please check how your body responds before committing to a big tub.

Whey protein is very effective for fat loss because protein requires more energy to digest. Just make sure you mix it in water and not high-fat milk if you are strictly tracking calories.

Before you spend 5000 rupees on a tub of whey, plan your budget. You should get a basic thyroid and lipid profile test done first for 800 rupees, to make sure there are no other blocks to your weight loss.

Please don't jump into high protein diets blindly. I had minor kidney stones that got worse when I started taking heavy protein supplements without drinking enough water. Always get a doctor's advice first.

I spent months drinking warm water with honey and eating methi seeds, but nothing worked. Adding whey protein once a day along with regular home food finally gave me the strength to exercise and lose weight.

My physician at Apollo Hospital advised me that whey is safe for weight loss, but the dosage depends on your body weight and kidney function. You should ask your doctor for a customized plan.
