Is weights good for weight loss?

I've started going to the gym recently and my main goal is to reduce my belly fat. My trainer suggested lifting weights, but I always thought cardio was better for weight loss. Can weights really help me shed pounds?

Haan bhai, weights uthane se body majboot hoti hai aur fat jaldi kam hota hai. Maine ghar pe hi thode dumble laakar shuru kiya tha aur bohot achha farak dikha. Bas dhyan se karna, chot na lag jaye.

I literally lost 8 kgs in the last six months by adding strength training to my routine. Earlier I was only doing cardio and my weight got stuck. Once I started lifting weights, my body toned up so beautifully.

Weights are excellent for boosting metabolism. If your doctor allows physical training, you can combine 3 days of lifting with daily brisk walking of 10k steps. It works wonders for sustainable fat loss.

Bro, lifting weights is elite for losing weight. Don't just starve yourself and do cardio all day, that is so boring. Hit the gym, lift some weights, and you will actually look fit instead of just skinny.

I used to think weights are only for guys, but honestly, it is the best thing for us women. It keeps our bones strong and helps drop those stubborn inches. Just start with light dumbbells and learn the correct form first.

Don't listen to random gym influencers on the internet telling you to lift heavy right away. Everyone's spine and joint structure is different. Go to a good orthopedician or physio to see if your body can handle heavy lifting safely.

I really want to try weights but I am too shy to go to the weight section in the gym. Can we do weight training at home using water bottles or resistance bands? Will that give similar results?
