Is wegovy as good as ozempic for weight loss?

My cousin is on Ozempic for weight loss, and it seems to be working for her. I saw an ad for Wegovy too. Is Wegovy as good as Ozempic for weight loss, or is one better than the other?

Actually yaar, Wegovy has the exact same active drug as Ozempic but in a higher maximum dose. So for weight loss, Wegovy is technically considered more effective because of that higher dosage. But it's super expensive and hard to get, honestly.

Both medications use the same compound to curb appetite, but they can cause significant digestive distress. I always encourage people to listen to their bodies and try mindful portion control and gentle yoga before relying on strong injections.

From what I've seen online, Wegovy is actually specifically meant for weight loss and goes up to a 2.4mg dose, while Ozempic is for diabetes and maxes out at 2mg. So Wegovy usually gives better weight loss results, but you definitely need a doctor's prescription.

Yes, Wegovy is highly effective for weight loss as it is approved for that specific purpose, but you must monitor your cardiovascular health and blood pressure closely while on it. Please get a complete health checkup done before starting either.

I am a bit confused, are they made by the same company? If they have the same medicine, does that mean the side effects like nausea are also exactly the same for both? I would love to know if anyone has tried them.

Both of these are incredibly expensive in India and require importing or costly alternatives, plus regular blood tests to monitor your organs. If you are planning this, make sure to budget for the monthly doctor visits and tests, not just the injection cost.
