Is watermelon bad for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose weight for my wedding and am very careful about what I eat. My trainer told me to avoid sugary fruits. Is watermelon bad for weight loss because of its sugar content, even though it's mostly water?

Watermelon is actually great for weight loss because it has very few calories and fills you up. Instead of buying expensive diet snacks, just eat a bowl of watermelon when you feel like munching. It is cheap, healthy, and highly satisfying.

My teenager was struggling with weight issues, and watermelon was a lifesaver for his sweet cravings. Replacing ice creams and cold drinks with fresh watermelon slices helped him lose weight in a very healthy, natural way without feeling deprived.

When I joined a medical weight loss program at our local family clinic, the dietitian recommended watermelon as a great mid-afternoon snack. However, they also tailored it to my specific medical history. I suggest you consult your own doctor or dietitian to see if it fits your plan.

Watermelon is actually a cheat code for volume eating because it is 92% water. 100 grams has only about 30 calories, which is amazing for keeping you in a calorie deficit. Just track your portion size on an app so you don't accidentally consume too much sugar.

I was reading some articles about weight loss diets, and almost all of them list watermelon as a superfood because of its high hydration levels. It seems to be really good for fat loss as long as you don't eat it in crazy amounts late at night.

Honestly, watermelon is the only thing that stops me from eating a whole pack of biscuits when I am awake at 2 AM working. It is sweet, low-calorie, and doesn't make you feel guilty. Just eat the actual fruit instead of drinking the juice!
