Is watermelon and salt good for weight loss?

Someone on social media was saying that eating watermelon with a pinch of salt helps with weight loss. It sounds a bit strange to me. Is there any truth to this or is it just another fad diet tip?

Watermelon is a gift of nature that keeps us cool, but adding extra salt is not necessary for your well-being. True weight loss comes when we treat our bodies with gentle care and eat mindfully. Stay happy, drink enough water, and let your body find its natural balance.

I tried eating only watermelon with black salt for a week to lose weight fast, but it only made me feel bloated and weak. High salt actually makes your body retain water, which defeats the purpose of weight loss. Eat a balanced diet instead of these extreme hacks.

Watermelon is fine as a low-calorie snack, but adding extra salt can cause water retention, which might show up as weight gain on the scale. If you are struggling with weight, it could be due to underlying issues like thyroid. It is always better to get a proper blood test done and consult your doctor.

I am trying to lose weight for the first time and someone suggested eating watermelon with chat masala. But won't the salt make me feel more thirsty or bloated? I am a bit confused if this is actually healthy or not.

Haan bhai, watermelon to waise hi low calorie hota hai, par usme extra namak dalne se weight loss nahi hoga na. Salt se body me water retention badh jati hai jo weight scale par jyada dikhega. Normal khao bina faltu namak ke, wohi best hai.
