Is water important for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight before my cousin's wedding next month and everyone tells me to drink lots of water. Does it actually help with weight loss, or is it just a myth people say to make you feel full? I'm already cutting down on junk food.

Water definitely helps with metabolism, but from my experience with PCOS, it is not a magic cure for weight loss. It is a great supporting habit to manage false hunger cues, but you still have to focus on your overall diet and hormone balance. Take it one step at a time.

Managing my weight is crucial for controlling my blood sugar levels, and water is a big help. Often we mistake thirst for food cravings and end up eating extra carbs. Drinking water before meals helps me control my portion sizes much better.

I recently lost about 8 kgs, and increasing my water intake was a game changer. I used to drink barely two glasses a day and hit a plateau, but once I started drinking 3 liters daily, my digestion improved and the weight started moving down again. It really does help!

Staying hydrated is very important when you are trying to lose weight, especially if you have high BP like me. Proper water intake helps flush out excess sodium and keeps your blood circulation smooth. Just ensure you are getting your regular medical checkups done to track your progress safely.

Yes, water is crucial because dehydration slows down your kidney function, which in turn puts more load on your liver to metabolize fat. Drinking enough water also ensures your energy levels don't drop during workouts. Make sure you drink at least 2.5 liters daily.

Bro, water is the ultimate trick when you are trying to cut down on late-night snacking. Whenever I crave a plate of momos at midnight, I just chug a glass of water first. It fills up your stomach temporarily so you don't overeat!
