Most vitamin waters are loaded with added sugars, which can cause a massive spike in your glucose levels. If you want hydration and vitamins, stick to plain water and get your nutrients from whole foods. A solid strength training routine and a clean diet will do far more for your insulin sensitivity.
My son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and we quickly learned to avoid bottled drinks labeled as 'healthy' or 'vitamin-infused.' Many of them have hidden sugars that are very risky for diabetics. It's much safer to stick to home-brewed unsweetened green tea or plain water.
I used to panic trying to find 'healthy' drinks for my diabetic mother and almost bought vitamin water thinking it was safe. Then I read the nutrition label and saw how much sugar it actually had! Once we switched back to simple lemon water without sugar, her levels stayed perfectly stable. You don't need these fancy drinks.
I have been managing diabetes for over twenty years now, and experience has taught me that simple is always best. These modern bottled vitamin waters are often just sugary sodas in disguise. Stick to clean water and regular meals prescribed by your doctor to keep your blood sugar under control.
There's no need to waste money on expensive bottled drinks that might secretly harm your health. If you are diabetic, just drink regular water and take your daily multi-vitamins as prescribed by your doctor. It's cheaper, completely safe, and won't mess with your sugar levels.

I was looking into this for my dad recently, and honestly, most of those vitamin waters have almost as much sugar as a regular soft drink! It's so misleading. It's much better to give them fresh coconut water occasionally, if their doctor allows it, or just plain water with mint.
