Is tea tree oil safe for pregnancy?

My friend mentioned using tea tree oil for various things, and I'm pregnant now. I want to know if it's completely safe to use during pregnancy, even diluted, or if it's best to avoid it altogether.

Hey! So for pregnancy, most doctors say to be really careful with essential oils. Tea tree oil is quite strong, and some studies suggest it might not be safe, especially in high concentrations. My sister was told to completely avoid it. Better to stick to doctor-approved products or ask your gynaecologist specifically.

Oh, the pregnancy worries are so real, I totally get it! You want to be super careful with everything. Essential oils, especially strong ones like tea tree, are generally advised to be avoided or used with extreme caution during pregnancy. Please, please talk to your gynaecologist about it, they can give you the most accurate advice for your situation.

During my pregnancy, my gynaecologist gave me a list of things to avoid, and essential oils were on it unless specifically cleared. Tea tree oil is known to be quite potent. I would strongly advise against using it without explicit approval from your doctor. There are safer alternatives for most issues if needed.

Pura pregnancy toh aise hi darr darr ke nikal jaata hai, 'ye khana, wo nahi khana', 'ye lagana, wo nahi lagana'. Tea tree oil ke liye bhi same kahani. Simple rule: jab doubt ho, doctor se पूछो. Varna yeh tension hi aadha pregnant kar degi! 😂

I know the temptation to try natural things, I've tried so many home remedies myself. But for pregnancy, it's a different ball game altogether. Tea tree oil is strong, and some essential oils are contraindicated. Don't risk it. Your doctor is the best person to guide you through what's safe and what's not during this time.
