Is sweating good for weight loss?
I'm trying to lose some weight, and I always feel better after a good sweaty workout or even just spending time in a sauna. Is sweating actually good for weight loss, or is it just temporary water loss?

Oh, this is something I've spent hours thinking about! Sweating does make you feel like you've worked hard and lost weight, but it's mostly water weight, right? It's not really fat loss. Still, it feels good to sweat, like you're doing something productive.
Sweating is a natural process of the body, a way of cleansing. While it makes you feel lighter, true weight loss comes from mindful eating and regular activity. Stay positive in your efforts, balance is key.
With PCOS, weight loss is a tricky journey. Sweating makes you feel lighter instantly but it's mostly water. Real fat loss needs consistency in diet and exercise. Don't get discouraged if the scale bounces back after a sweaty workout, it's normal. Keep going!
Haha, I sweat a lot just thinking about my favourite aloo tikki! But honestly, sweating after a good workout feels amazing, makes you think you've burnt off those extra calories. But then the hunger strikes, and I just wanna eat! It's mostly water loss, not fat, but good for mood.
I always sweat a lot when I exercise, and I feel so good after, like I've really achieved something. But then I read somewhere it's just water weight. Does anyone else feel like they're doing a lot, but then the actual weight loss is super slow? It makes me a bit anxious sometimes.

Sweating? Oh yeah, I sweat all night just thinking about how much sleep I'm not getting! Jokes aside, sweating makes me *feel* thinner for about five minutes until I drink water. For actual weight loss, I think consistency and less biryani for dinner is probably more effective than just sweating, sadly.
My son also sweats buckets when he plays, and he looks so thin immediately! But it's water, beta. For proper weight loss, we focus on him eating more homemade food, less junk, and playing daily. Sweating is a good sign of activity, but not the only metric for weight loss.
