Is subway good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and usually grab something quick for lunch. I was thinking of Subway, as it seems like a healthier fast-food option. Is Subway actually good for weight loss, or is it deceiving?

It can work for weight loss if you choose wisely. Skip the cheese, double the veggies, and choose mustard instead of mayonnaise. Honestly, home-cooked roti-sabzi is much cheaper and better, but Subway is a decent option when you are outside.

They say it's good for weight loss, but the moment I see those chocolate chip cookies at the billing counter, my diet plans vanish. If you have the willpower to say no to the cheese and cookies, then go for it!

Weight loss depends on your metabolic health and any underlying issues like thyroid or insulin resistance. While Subway has lower calorie options, it's best to consult a certified dietitian who can plan meals tailored to your body's needs.

With my PCOS, I have to be very careful with gluten and processed ingredients. Even the wheat bread at Subway might have refined flour mixed in it. It might work occasionally for general calorie counting, but don't make it a daily habit.

Don't fall for the marketing blindly. Subway can be a healthier alternative to burgers and pizza, but it still has sodium and processed elements. Enjoy it occasionally, but focus on whole, fresh foods for sustainable weight loss.

I lost 8 kgs last year and used to eat Subway salads on busy days. The key is to order a salad bowl instead of a sandwich, and choose olive oil and red wine vinegar as your dressing. It keeps the carbs low and fills you up.

I totally get it, finding healthy food while working late is such a struggle. Subway feels like a savior, but just watch out for those creamy dressings like southwest or mayo which add hundreds of empty calories.

Honestly, I am too tired to cook after night shifts, so I often grab a Subway. It is definitely better than ordering greasy biryani at 2 AM, but my weighing scale still isn't showing much difference. Just keep an eye on the portion size!
