Is split pea soup healthy for weight loss?

I've been trying to lose some weight and incorporating more plant-based meals into my diet. I heard split pea soup is quite filling and healthy. Is it good for weight loss too?

It is quite filling and good for protein, but if you have underlying issues like thyroid, diet alone won't magically fix weight. Always get your TSH levels checked regularly. I only saw real progress when my doctor balanced my dosage along with healthy eating.

Honestly, soup sounds great on paper until you are hungry again in exactly one hour. It is healthy, sure, but don't expect miracles unless you are also skipping the deep-fried pakodas that go with the rainy weather.

Yes, totally! It's super low in calories and packed with fiber which keeps you full for longer. Just don't put too much butter or cream while cooking, keep it simple and light. 🍵✨

Yes, it is definitely a healthy option for weight loss. Just watch out for the sodium if you buy ready-made packs.

Healthy food is good, but if you are suddenly gaining weight or unable to lose it despite eating salads and soups, please get your blood panels checked. I ignored my fatigue and weight gain for a year thinking it was just stress, and it turned out to be a severe hormonal imbalance. Better to consult a doctor first.
