Is splenda safe during pregnancy?
I'm in my first trimester and craving sweets, but I'm worried about my sugar intake. My mother-in-law uses Splenda, and I was wondering if it's safe to use during pregnancy.

I am in my second trimester and so anxious about everything. My doctor said Splenda is technically FDA approved and safe, but I still feel scared using artificial sweeteners. Did anyone else completely avoid them during pregnancy?

Beta, don't worry. During my daughter's pregnancy, she had gestational diabetes and her doctor allowed her to use a little Splenda occasionally. Her baby was born perfectly healthy. Just don't overuse it.
