Is sooji good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and I often have sooji cheela for breakfast. Is sooji good for weight loss, or should I be looking for other options? I want to make sure I'm eating right.

Honestly, don't stress too much about cutting out everything you love. Sooji is actually much better than maida and keeping me full for hours. I just make upma with lots of veggies and a tiny bit of oil, it works great.

Don't go on extreme diets, alright? Sooji is a good, clean source of energy, but portion control is key. Just make sure you are adding some protein like paneer or sprouts on the side to make it a balanced meal.

I can only tell you what worked for me during my weight loss journey. I replaced my morning bread with sooji cheela and saw a decent difference in my bloating. It is lighter on my stomach, but everyone's body reacts differently.

From what I understand, sooji has a decent amount of protein and fiber compared to refined flour, which helps with satiety. Just don't buy the highly processed instant varieties. Stick to natural semolina and keep your daily calorie limit in mind.

When my daughter wanted to lose weight, we switched her evening maida snacks to roasted sooji snacks. It keeps her energetic and doesn't crash her blood sugar. Try making sooji dhokla at home, it is steamed and very healthy.

Same here, I was so confused about this! I started having sooji idlis for breakfast instead of oily parathas, and it actually helped me stay light yet energetic. Just load it up with carrots and beans so you get extra fiber.

Yes, it is definitely a healthier alternative if you cook it with less oil. Just watch the portion size.
