Is slight bleeding normal in early pregnancy?

I just found out I'm pregnant, barely 5 weeks along. Yesterday, I noticed some very light spotting, just a little pinkish discharge. My sister said it can be normal in early pregnancy, but I'm so worried. Is a slight bit of bleeding really normal?

Sometimes mild spotting or implantation bleeding happens, but you should not take any chances. Put on a clean pad to track how much it is, rest completely, and call your doctor immediately.

While some spotting can be normal, don't try to guess it from internet forums! Pick up your phone, call your doc, and get peace of mind so you can relax.

In early days, mild spotting can sometimes occur, but we must be very careful. Do not try any home remedies for this. Rest flat on the bed and consult your family doctor immediately.

Haan na, thoda spotting normal ho sakta hai, but pregnancy mein risk nahi lena chahiye. Apne doctor ko phone karke batana hi sabse best option hai.

I have read that light spotting can happen when the embryo implants in the uterus. However, since any bleeding in pregnancy can be a red flag, it's very important to consult your gynecologist to be absolutely safe.
