Is skipping breakfast good for weight loss?

I've been trying different things to lose weight, and my colleague suggested skipping breakfast sometimes. Is skipping breakfast actually good for weight loss, or is it bad for my metabolism?

From what I track on my apps, skipping breakfast usually makes me overeat later in the day. Intermittent fasting works for some, but you need to manage your calories and macros for the whole day, not just skip a meal randomly.

In Yoga and Ayurveda, a nourishing start to the day is often encouraged. Skipping meals can sometimes create imbalance in the body's agni (digestive fire). Listen to your body's signals and choose wholesome, early meals.

Initially, I was worried when I started intermittent fasting and skipped breakfast, but I learned it's not about skipping, it's about the eating window and total calorie intake. Don't panic, it's possible but needs a proper plan and not just random skipping.

My grandmother always said breakfast is the most important meal. While some people do intermittent fasting, it's not for everyone. For weight loss, it's better to consult a doctor or a good dietitian who can guide you properly, rather than skipping meals blindly.

I tried skipping breakfast for a while thinking it would help me lose weight faster, but it just made me really tired and moody. Plus, I would get super hungry by lunchtime and eat more than I should. It didn't work for me at all!

With PCOS, skipping meals can sometimes mess with blood sugar regulation, which is already a concern. I find that eating regular, balanced meals helps more than skipping. Always discuss with your gynecologist or endocrinologist.

Not really. Skipping breakfast can slow down your metabolism and make you crave unhealthy foods later. A high-protein, fiber-rich breakfast is actually great for weight loss.

Beta, subah ka naashta shakti deta hai. Humare zamane mein toh kabhi naashta nahi chhodte the. Pet bhara rahega toh idhar udhar ki cheezein kam khaoge. Thoda daliya ya upma kha lo subah.

If skipping breakfast worked, I'd be a supermodel by now! Sadly, my stomach just screams at me louder for lunch. Better to eat something small and healthy than turn into a hungry monster.
