Is sitting cycling good for weight loss?

My weight has increased a lot since the last lockdown, and my knees also start hurting if I do high-impact exercises. Someone suggested sitting cycling, but I'm not sure if it will actually help me lose weight. What do you think?

Absolutely! I started with sitting cycling after a knee injury and it was a game-changer. It's low impact, so easy on the joints, but you can still get your heart rate up. I lost a good amount of weight by being consistent with it, combined with mindful eating. It definitely works!

Sitting cycling? Sounds like something I can do while half-asleep, which is my default state. If it burns calories while I'm mostly stationary, then sign me up! Anything that doesn't involve complex choreography or actual running sounds like a win for weight loss and my tired self.

It's completely normal to wonder if a particular exercise is effective for weight loss, especially when there are so many options. Sitting cycling, or stationary biking, is a fantastic low-impact cardio option. It can definitely contribute to weight loss by burning calories and improving cardiovascular health. Just make sure you're consistent and pushing yourself!

Sitting cycling, or using a stationary bike, is a good option as it's gentle on the joints and provides good cardiovascular exercise. My father, who is older, uses one to stay active. For weight loss, it certainly helps burn calories. However, a doctor or a physiotherapist can best advise on intensity and duration, especially if you have any pre-existing health conditions.

For busy professionals, sitting cycling (stationary bike) is excellent. You can do it at home, even while watching TV or listening to a podcast, making it easier to fit into a tight schedule. It's great for cardio and calorie burning. Consistency is crucial, aim for at least 30-45 minutes most days of the week for good results.

While sitting cycling is generally considered low-impact and beneficial for cardio, it's crucial to ensure your form is correct and the intensity is appropriate for your fitness level. I had some back pain issues from incorrect posture on a stationary bike once. Please consider talking to a physiotherapist or doctor to make sure it's the right exercise for you, especially if you have any existing physical conditions.

I've tried sitting cycling, but I always worry if I'm doing it hard enough to actually lose weight. Like, do I need to be completely out of breath, or just consistently cycling? Does anyone else get anxious about whether their effort is truly sufficient?

Haan bhai, sitting cycling is very practical. No need to go outside in heat or pollution. You can do it at home, watching TV. It burns calories and is easy on knees. For middle-class people, it's a good one-time investment. Combine it with ghar ka simple khana, and you'll definitely see results.

My son, he found it really helpful. He had some issues with his ankle, so high-impact exercises were out. Sitting cycling allowed him to burn calories and build stamina without straining his joints. It's a great option, especially if you have joint issues or are just starting out. Just ensure good posture.

Oh, sitting cycling! That's my kind of exercise these days, no running involved. Less impact on my protesting knees. And yes, it can definitely help with weight loss. As long as you're consistent and don't just sit there watching a movie without putting in any effort, it burns calories. Maybe I should stop just dusting mine and actually use it.

Haan, beti. Agar tum baith ke cycle chalaogi toh sharir ko fayda hoga. Khoon ka sanchalan achha hoga aur pet bhi kam hoga. Bas niyam se karna. Hamare gaon mein log subah subah paidal chalte hain, par cycle bhi acchi hai, ghar baithe ho jaata hai.

Oh, I've seen those stationary bikes! So, they actually help with weight loss? Is it better than just walking, or is it similar? I want to start somewhere easy.
