Is sherbet good for weight loss?

I'm trying to cut down on sweets to manage my weight, but sometimes I crave something cold and refreshing. I was thinking about having sherbet instead of ice cream. Is sherbet actually good for weight loss, or is it just as bad?

No, absolutely not. Traditional sherbet is basically sugar water with some flavor. It's high in calories and offers no significant nutritional value or satiety for weight loss. You're better off with plain water, coconut water, or fresh unsweetened fruit juice diluted with water.

Beti, in our homes, sherbet means lots of sugar for energy. For losing weight, anything with so much sweet is not good. Better to drink plain water or nimbu paani without sugar. That is simple and good for the body.

I totally understand wanting to find refreshing options that also help with weight loss! But honestly, most sherbets are loaded with sugar and don't help at all. They just add empty calories. It's something I learned the hard way when I was trying to lose weight and getting anxious about every little food choice.

Girl, generally no. Sherbet is mostly sugar and water, so it's just extra calories without much fiber or protein to keep you full. It's like drinking a dessert! For weight loss, you want things that fill you up and are low in sugar. Think fresh juices without added sugar or plain infused water.

Nah, dude. If you want to lose weight, sherbet is a no-go. It's just sugar, yaar. I used to drink a lot of it, then I checked the calories and sugar content, it's crazy. Better to just have water or black coffee if you're serious about cutting down.

I always get confused with these drinks. Sherbet tastes so refreshing, but I always worry if it's adding too many calories and sugar, especially when I'm trying to watch my weight. Does anyone else get this same anxiety about sweet drinks?
