Is sauna good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and have started going to the gym. The gym has a sauna, and I've seen some people use it after their workout. Does using a sauna actually help with weight loss, or is it just temporary water weight?

My sister used to think sauna would help her lose weight fast. She'd come out feeling lighter because of water loss, but that's temporary. For actual fat loss, proper diet and exercise are key. Don't rely on saunas.

I totally get it, we all want quick fixes for weight loss. But honestly, sauna makes you sweat out water, not fat. You'll feel lighter for an hour, then it all comes back once you rehydrate. It's not a sustainable method.

Weight loss is a journey of patience and discipline, my child. Sauna can offer relaxation, which is good for the mind, but it mainly helps you shed water weight. Focus on healthy habits and peace within, the body will follow.

I've tried so many things for weight loss, including thinking sauna would be a shortcut. It really isn't. You lose water, yes, but not the actual fat. For real results, gotta watch what you eat and get some physical activity daily.

Please be very careful with saunas for weight loss. I once got really dehydrated and felt dizzy after a session, thinking it would burn calories. It's better to consult a doctor or a nutritionist for a safe and effective weight loss plan, especially if you have any health conditions.
