Is salmon or tuna better for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and get healthier. I've been considering adding more fish to my diet. Between salmon and tuna, which one is generally better for weight loss, or does it depend on how it's prepared?

Having tried both for weight loss, I'd say both are good protein sources. Salmon has more healthy fats, which keeps you fuller longer. Tuna is leaner, so fewer calories. It really depends on your overall diet and what you prefer. I'd alternate them or pick salmon if I need more satiety, tuna for a lighter meal. And portion control is key for both!

Both salmon and tuna offer excellent protein, which is crucial for weight loss as it helps build muscle and keeps you full. Salmon has more Omega-3s, which are very beneficial. Tuna is leaner. For a balanced diet, either can work, just be mindful of cooking methods and portion sizes. Consider consulting a dietitian for personalised guidance.

Okay, so both are good for weight loss because they're high in protein. Salmon has more healthy fats (Omega-3s), which are great for you, but also slightly more calories. Tuna, especially skipjack or light tuna, is very lean. So, if you're counting every calorie, tuna might give you a slight edge. But for overall health and satiety, salmon is excellent too. Just don't overdo mercury with tuna.

Yaar, both are good options, no? Salmon is full of those healthy fats, makes you feel full for longer. Tuna is leaner, but you have to watch out for mercury if you eat too much. Actually, I think it comes down to what you like more and how you cook it. Don't add too much oil, that's the main thing!

Oh, I've wondered this too! For weight loss, both salmon and tuna are fantastic because of the protein content which helps with satiety. Salmon offers more good fats which are great for overall health, while tuna is super lean. I think it depends on your preference and what other fats you're eating in your diet. Both are good choices!
