Is sabudana good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and a friend told me that sabudana is surprisingly good for weight loss because it keeps you full. Is sabudana actually good for weight loss, or is it too high in carbs for a weight-loss diet?

Weight loss? Sabudana? Bhai, it's mostly carbs! Like eating pure energy. I eat it when I want to GAIN weight, lol. But seriously, it makes me feel sleepy after eating, so maybe that's why it's not for weight loss. More energy to sleep, less to exercise.

Sabudana is high in carbohydrates, so it provides a lot of energy. For weight loss, usually, people look for foods that are high in fiber and protein to keep them full. Maybe check other options for weight management.

Sabudana is calorie-dense and primarily contains carbohydrates. While it provides quick energy, it's not ideal for weight loss as it lacks fiber and protein, which are crucial for satiety. For sustainable weight loss, a balanced diet planned with a doctor or dietitian is key.

Honestly, sabudana will make you full, but it's mostly starch, na? For weight loss, I try to eat more dal, sabzi, and roti with less oil. High protein and fiber keep you fuller for longer. Sabudana is more for energy, not for losing kgs.

In our house, sabudana is usually eaten during fasts for energy, not for weight loss. Amma always says it fills the stomach but doesn't have much else. For weight loss, it's always best to listen to your doctor or a dietician, they know what is right for your body type.

I tried various diets for weight loss in the past without proper guidance and ended up with some issues. Sabudana is mostly just carbs. If you're serious about weight loss, please consult a proper doctor or a qualified nutritionist. Self-experimentation can be risky.
