Is rosehip oil safe during pregnancy?

I'm looking for natural ways to keep my skin moisturized during pregnancy, especially since I'm trying to avoid harsh chemicals. I heard about rosehip oil for stretch marks and general skin health. Is rosehip oil safe to use during pregnancy?

Tbh, I'm not sure about pregnancy specific stuff, but my friend used rosehip oil for stretch marks after her baby was born and it worked well. For pregnancy though, maybe ask your gynae? Better safe than sorry!

In our times, we just used simple things like coconut oil or almond oil. These new oils, I don't know much. But one thing is sure, when you are pregnant, your doctor is your best friend. Just ask them, beta, they will tell you what is right.

Focus on diet and light exercise approved by your doc during pregnancy. For skincare, I'd say less is more unless your doctor recommends something specific. Don't add anything extra without checking with your healthcare provider.

I am all for natural remedies, but pregnancy is a special case. While rosehip oil seems mild, it's better to be cautious. For anything serious, or even for routine doubts like this, please consult a proper doctor. Home remedies have their limits.

As someone with health concerns, I've learned that even 'natural' things can affect your body differently, especially when pregnant. Just like my thyroid levels need monitoring, any new product should be cleared by your doctor. Don't take chances.

I used a very diluted version of rosehip oil in my last trimester for my belly, after my doctor gave me the green light. She said to watch for any irritation. So, yes, it can be safe, but only if your doc approves after checking your skin and general health.

Hmm, I usually check health apps for this kind of info, but for pregnancy, it's super specific. Most apps just say 'consult your doctor'. Better to go by that advice rather than trusting random sources online for something this important.

At reputable hospitals, they always advise discussing *everything* you put on or in your body during pregnancy. Even though rosehip oil is often touted as safe, it's best to ask your obstetrician directly. They can give you personalized advice based on your health history.

My doctor always stressed checking all ingredients, even in skincare, during pregnancy. It's not just about exercise or diet. So, for rosehip oil, best to confirm with your ob/gyn. They'll know if it interacts with anything or if your skin might react.

I was actually looking into this for my friend too! It comes up a lot in pregnancy skincare discussions. Some say yes, some say no, because of certain compounds. So confusing, right? I think a doctor's word is final here.

Haan, log bolte hain natural cheezein safe hoti hain, but pregnancy mein na, you have to be extra careful. Rosehip oil ka pata nahin, but many things are contra-indicated. Apne doc se confirm kar lo.

This question comes up often. While many sources claim rosehip oil is safe, especially for stretch marks, the main concern is often around essential oils or potent botanical extracts. Since pregnancy sensitizes your skin and body, a quick call to your gynaecologist is the safest route.
