Rice flakes, or poha, is a common breakfast in our homes. My mother always said it's light on the stomach. For weight loss, it can be good because it's usually low in calories if you cook it simply with vegetables and less oil. The fiber content helps too. But for any specific diet, I always trust what the doctor advises over family traditions.
Please, for weight loss, don't just pick foods because they sound 'light'. I once ignored persistent acidity thinking I could fix it with diet, but it worsened. Rice flakes are a carb, and depends on how you prepare it. Too much oil, too many potatoes, it won't help. Best to get a proper diet plan from a professional. Don't take shortcuts with health.
Rice flakes (poha) can be okay for weight loss if prepared correctly. The key is to add lots of veggies and a protein source like peanuts or sprouts, and minimal oil. It provides energy for your workouts. Combine it with regular exercise, like brisk walking or cycling, if your doctor says it's fine. It's all about overall lifestyle.
I had some health complications due to incorrect diet advice in the past. Rice flakes, or poha, is mostly carbs. If you're looking for weight loss, you need a balanced meal plan with adequate protein and controlled carbs. Relying solely on rice flakes might not give you the right nutrients or satiety. I strongly recommend consulting a doctor or a registered dietitian for a personalized plan to avoid any issues.

Rice flakes? Oh god, anything that requires less effort to make is good for me these days. For weight loss, I guess they're low cal if you just eat plain ones. But I need my sleep more than I need to obsess over every grain. If it makes you full and doesn't taste like cardboard, I say go for it, just watch the quantity and oil.
